APC State Publicity Secretaries Hail Appointment of new Party National Spokesman, Call on Saraki to Step Down

The Conference of APC Publicity Secretaries (CAPS) hails the appointment of the Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Yekini Nabena as the Acting National Publicity Secretary of All Progressives Congress, APC, following the resignation of Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi.
CAPS has no doubt that Hon. Nabena is well endowed with the capacity and experience to undertake the task of effectively managing the image, internal and external communications of the APC especially going into the 2019 general elections and thereafter.
CAPS has taken notice of the exit of Mallam Abdullahi from the APC and we appreciate the time we worked together and wish him well in his future political career.
Considering the recent movements of politicians across the different political parties and particularly the defection of the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki from APC to PDP, CAPS observes that it is within the rights of Dr. Saraki to choose where to pitch his political tent. However, CAPS calls on the Senate President to resign from the position immediately. We believe that Dr. Bukola Saraki, as a member of the minority PDP, has lost the moral ground to continue as the Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
